Aftermath

Just spent all day at the Hut (2nd June) hanging the final tents and putting away the debris from camp! And at last, here is a selection of photos. Enjoy.

Here's a copy of the final group photo. Click on the photo to download a higher-res image 191kb).

Centenary Camp Blog

Like our Centenary Camp Badge? It was designed by one of our Beavers in a competition held amongst all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Everyone who comes to camp gets one for their uniform!

This will be near Devizes 5th to 7th May 2007 as part of our celebrations of the Scouting Centenary! Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers invited, and we would like everyone to attend!

Explorers, Scouts and Cubs: Saturday 5th – Monday 7th May 2007

Beavers: Sunday 6th – Monday 7th May 2007 (Beavers are only allowed to attend for 24 hours)

See pictures of the Scout Site in Devizes where camp will be held.

"Scouting started in 1907, with an experimental camp on Brownsea Island in the UK for 20 boys from a wide variety of social backgrounds.

Today, Scouting is a million times bigger than when it first started. It involves girls and boys, men and women from every race, religion and culture, and nearly every country in the world."
